About me
Engin Kızılcan
I’m a sociologist, storyteller, animator and graphic designer.
I’m also a project manager and coordinate European Union projects.
My Skills and Expertise
Throughout my life, I added many skills to my toolkit to be a great storyteller.
They are all useful and lifesaving assets in right places.
Sociology
I have a bachelor degree from Galatasaray University, which I cherish greatly. It allowed me to gain a global perspective in life, a multilingual and multidisciplinary academic background and a great curiosity and love for learning.
2D & 3D Animation
My initial plan in life was to become a comic book author. Combined with my sociology education, I crafted stories about social issues, human complexity and conflicts within society. Turns out, I loved animation more.
3D Visualization & Storyboards
The foundation for every story is a great eye for composition, layout and sequencing key scenes. It is no surprise that I switched to animation from comic books, as they are closely related. I played a key role in 3D visualization and storyboards of stage shows and theatrical pieces.
Graphic Design & Editing
I also worked in many projects that required my skills of aesthetics, conveying information in a practical and visually appealing manner. I contributed to the creation of logos, visual identities, printable materials, web design and textual information of many business and many projects.
