On 2022, I worked closely with the lead choreographer and the production team for the musical “Ben Nazım Hikmet” in the pre-production and production phases. For the designs of the scenes, I used Blender to visualize the choreography to help every team to plan ahead their own tasks.

We tested different alternatives for several scenes, to see which was the perfect fit for the vision of the lead choreographer and the musical itself.

The main purpose of this task was to visualize the scenes and then communicate it with the other partners, the composers, the singers, the performers and so on. I assembled all the scenes with the appropriate scores and compiled them into an easy to access video.

During the end of the pre-production phase, the location for the musical was changed from an indoor theather to an outdoor amphitheather. So I rebuilt the assets, 1:1 ratio in Blender of course, to reimage all the scenes in this new environment.

Did you recognize this famous amphitheather in Istanbul?
The new scenes were adapted to the new environment smoothly and everything was ready to be communicated to the production team in the field.

On September 20th, it was the premiere day.
